Bugeye for sale

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I am selling a Bugeye that was last registered in 71 (and I'm pretty sure hasn't run since then) until I applied and received a clear title around 2000. Just too many cars and tractors to take care of at this point. Another forum member was going to buy it, but medical issues forced him to back out of the deal. If anyone is interested, I put it back on Craig's list.

Kevin graciously let me out of the deal we made for this car, as my health has recently taken a couple of strange turns I knew I would not be able to do anything with this Bugeye for a while.

This Bugeye is as described, and more.
I was thinking how cool it would be to fix the floors, get it running and stopping and then just drive it as a "barn find".
Think about it, nobody's driven it in something like 42 years!
There were a lot of people dropping by Kevin's place just to look at it and ask questions while he was hanging onto it for me, so I'm sure this will go quickly.

Class act Kevin, everything OK Rick?

Yes, I agree Kevin is a classy guy.
I have another appointment Monday, everything seems to take forever just to get some information.
I realize it's only days but it seems much longer.

Hats off to both of you. And here's praying that you health problem is neither serious nor long lasting.

Rick, please keep us updated on your health...prayers sent your way.

Maaaaan I am so tempted! But I can just hear my wife now....."You what?! You haven't finished the one that's been taking up our garage for the past six years!....and you want another one? I should have married that Dentist my father was pulling for!"
:D

Knew that wouldn't last long at that price. Lemme know if you ever want to sell any old guitars, gun or anything else of value.

maybe but you have to at least subtract one for they guy who bought it.:congratulatory:

I prefer to think of it as taking one for the team. :D

Actually, the husband was a little hesitant, and it was the wife telling him to get it. Talk about your perfect marriage-she is the mechanic of the family, and he is a metal fabricator, mostly working on cars. This car is going to be a lot of work, and if anyone can get this back together, it will be these two.
