Nicely done, and I don't doubt the seller could have that much invested in the car. I've never added up what I have invested in mine...

Still, that sadly doesn't mean the car is actually worth anything close to that. Good luck to 'em.
 
There is a BE in FL that was restored by a high end shop in FL that I was told owner wrote a check to the restoration shop for $77k. It won the trophy at safety Harbor Show last year. Oh yeah and that cost did not include the purchase price.
 
Crazy. Such a car would also have to have some sort of provenance (for me)... like ownd by John Lennon or something. :wink-new:
