Bugeye exterior colors

Hello,

I have not posted for a long time and hope everyone is well and looking forward to the holidays.

I have a question regarding Bugeye colors. I am looking to buy a 1960 which has been painted wedgewood blue and wonder if that is an original color? Of course the seller claims this but I have not been able to locate any color charts that list it. Anyone out there know?

Original Bugeye blue was Iris or Speedwel Blue depending on the actual manufacturing date/VIN number.
 
I have a friend that was at a Healy conv. yrs ago when Don Healy was there and "original" colors were being discussed. He started laughing, and said that you have no idea the size of the company at that time. We went out and bought paint at the paint store in small lots. When we got to the bottom of the container, we blended into the next batch. Two bugeyes close in serial No.s could be a little different in color. I think one of the great things about our cars, are that they are ours, to do with exactly what you want.
 
Thanks for all the feedback; I suppose the color I mentioned is not an official color, but it sure looks similar to the light blue I have seen on other later Sprites. Well, if I purchase the car I'll post pictures and see what you all have to say.
