Bugeye Disc Brake Conversion

I have most of the necessary bits and pieces to convert my BE to front disc brakes using the dual line system from a later 1275 model. My question is: Should I use original rear wheel cylinders or the larger, later style? If later, any other changes necessary?

Thanks, Eric

The original Bugeye rear cylinders will work but it's a much better final job when the whole system is replaced with the later system.
For the rears you will need the axle backing plates from a later car 64-79 and they also take a different brake show, wheel cylinder and the E brake rods are a bit different but easy enough to fabricate or make a bit longer with a couple of union nuts and a 1/4 x 28 die to thread the rods.
