Does anyone have one that they would share?

I would love to see what it says.

Send to my email or PM me.

Jack

If you means the Originality Guide for Restorations and Registry Inspections published by the Austin Healey Concours Registry, I have a copy. It's over 100 pages.

I would be happy to do a look-up for anyone.

Okay Ray:

Should a clock be in the dashboard of a BE? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/lol.gif You're a bad man, Pat.

One of these days I'm going to have to buy one of those. It's not too expensive, and any sort of reference is always helpful.

Not sure if I'm the "Ray" you are referring to or not; either way, I wouldn't know...I'm not a Bugeye guy. Had one, but it was a vintage race car...certainly not concours.

I do have a '73 Midget that I showed in Concours at MG2006; hadn't planned to...heck, I'd never even been to a show that had a Concours designation...but received an invitation by the Coucours Chairman of NAMGBR, Paul Hanley, so I thought, "why not"?

It was not as much fun as a regular show because you have to sit right there with the car...all day. Three teams of two judges, each with their "book"...which brings us back to the subject at hand. They used the Horler book, "Original Sprite & Midget". It's available on Ebay or from Amazon.

Gesh, I have that book.

Wow, 100 page guide, well guess it might be worth what they charge.

too late

The question is not "should their be a clock" it is "may there be a clock?"

The answer is yes. Page 44, Horler. Electric Clock 1G2892

Dealer item, Approved BMC Accessories list.

As to the concours 100 page book:
--IF THERE IS NO COPYWRITE PROBLEM---
just scan it onto your computer and burn copies onto CDs. I've done that to old books and it works great.

The Concours guide can be had for a few bucks from
George Marinos <gmari2@verizon.net>
I believe it IS copy righted by the Austin Healey Club of America.

My question abouit the clock, to be OK for a concours event, can it be running with the correct time?

It must be running with correct time. Mine was set on install and not touched since, shows correct time. Good german product. LOL

If I click on the GMT link I get a security code warning!!! Is Abbington time that risky???
