Bugeye bonnet differences

Can someone tell me the differences between early bugeye and later bugeye bonnets, and if they are interchangeable? I have a 1960, and the bonnet is pretty hammered. Rather than fixing it, I thought of replacing it with an earlier one. He claims the ducting for the radiator is smaller, or different in some manner.
Thanks for the clarification.

Nice, thanks for the help!
Does the 58 still accommodate a front tilt? I thought the mounting points were on the radiator shroud.

To use the front tilt on the '58 you'd need to fabricate braces. Otherwise it is too flimsy. I tried it.

well thats no good. now I don't know what to do. he wants $500 for the bonnet, and its nice. and mine is hammered.

So add some bracing. Duplicate what's in there on old bonnet. Inner braces on my old bonnet on Bugsy were totally rusted in spots. I added aluminum angle iron pop riveted it place( pre Welder ) and straightened out some inner panels that had been torn up as a result of some sort of incident. Made it work.
