Wow - $500?? Really?

I've got a nerf bar on the front of my MK2. I like the little bit of protection there and I like the way it looks.

Only prob is that bar will go right under a larger car. Hehe. Might as well get an ejection seat.

I don't think my lifted, big tired, FJ 40 land Cruiser
would make contact till the windscreen. Let's face it,
these cars aren't meant to be very crash-worthy.
Defensive driving is about all we have going for us.

500.00 for some chromed tubing.. a bit high for me. I could better spend that elsewhere. Shoot, that's a set of HAP's wheels.

Sure it's a lot of dough but then again you don't see this Amco stuff very often.
Like old Lucas accessories.
My BE has a day/night Lucas rear view mirror that sells for stupid sums and Lucas fog/driving light set that is NLA and
worth a bit of change.
Rare items fetch higher prices. Part of supply and demand.
Now if demand isn't there even with limited supply...it doesn't sell.
Same seller has the front Amco BE nerf bar too. Same price.
Even new I'd guess these boys cost over $200 back then.
I don't need them. Got 'em. But, I thought maybe another fool and his money wanted to part company.

Gundy I bought one of those rear bumpers off ebay the other day in used condition for my Bugeye. I really liked the looks of the bumper, I was even thinking of making one and haveing it chromed before I saw the one I bought. From what they want for that one now I got a really great deal on mine. but it is used, but looks just as good.

Do you have some photos of yours installed you could post or message me, I can not get yours to enlarge in the first post. trying to figure out the proper way to install bumper with bumperettes to car.

Do I have photos? :yesnod:
Here's one from the past weekend near home.
I happen to like that BE butt. Call me crazy.
Note the frog's eyes are not in this shot
and it's still cute as a puppy..
Bar to the car and over-riders to the bar.
I could take some closeups if needed.

Money Shot!

I have an AMCO luggage rack for a Bugeye that is NEW. Make me an offer.

nice photo, I really like it and I am glad I scooped that piece off ebay. do you still use the orignal bumperette brackets with this bumper. If you find a camera in your hand get me a shot showing how it is attached to car

Ummmm luggage rack, maybe on the other Bugeye. naaaaah

Will do. Anything for another Palmetto State guy!
This weekend soon enough?
Here's the front shot from the same overlook.
That front nerf would look great but I'd have to ditch
the extra lighting. I goofed this shot by leaving the light covers on. Grrrrrrr

They were not what I had in mind but "Gundy" is baby blue and the Sprite was a time and place thing. They make a nice pair.
I have no idea if these braces are the same as stock, I don't have a stock one to compare. However here are the requested pics. Happy hunting.
