Bugeye at the Vanderbilt last Sunday.

Hmm.. Not an expert on BE's actually not on many things but I know enough. When someone tells me this is
"Original" to the car, I usually take it with a grain of salt. I was a judge that day and all I can say it "Ohh.. really?"
Another guy came up to me with a 80 Spit. 324 mi. Tires are cracked and all was original. It was a well documented car and I believe it had the true mileage but what a waste. Why take it to a show? If you are not going to drive it, set it up in a museum and charge addmission. I think this car was trailered but still...

BE never had an overflow bottle for anything, just dumps on the ground.

Where is the Vanderbilt?

The reason I ask is that the background looks a lot like the Biltmore House in Asheville, North Carolina.....and I know they have car displays there from time to time....and the people that built it were named Vanderbilt......

Anybody know the answer?

The Vanderbilt Mansion. The Vanderbilts were a big part of the "Gold Coast" of Long Island. The mansion is Ginotmous with several buildings on the property including a planetarium. There was a race around all of the areas around his house for many years. Quite a history it has. There is an old Cadillac like a 1923 in the now garage of the house. It sits on a rotating plate so when the chaufer would come to pick him up, he never had to back out of the garage.
