I thought Jack might like this. Won it's class. Was a rotisserie resto and claims he drives it. Very nice car.

Wish I could keep cars I drive that clean!

Sweet
It's what mine is supposed to look like when I'm done (Iris Blue). do you have any more pictures?

Paul

No I only took those three. I wish I took a shot of the other side of the engine. It had an interesting overflow.

I thought there were going to be no more shows at the Vanderbilt. Something to do with their insurance co I think. Maybe I'm wrong. I hope so.

I goofed! I had my wires crossed. I meant to say the Biltmore Mansion in Asheville,NC.

No biggie, only 500 miles apart.

There are actually two shows there. The other is coming up in a few weeks.

I do love me an Iris Blue Bugeye! Nice looking car there. No way I'll ever have one that clean. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Methinks he drives it ONLY from the heated garage to the covered travel trailer. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif

Jolly nice piece of work that, but I'd still prefer mine which can be fearlessly driven any day (well, most days anyway!), in any weather! AND ENJOYED to the FULLEST!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

Ha, lovely BE but I know he does not drive it out of the drive way.

Just down the street and back and it needs cleaning. Lookie he used tire dressing on the tread, hmmmm.

Lets be real pickie.

Generator is wrong color.
Front running lights have wrong color bulbs.
Choke pull knob is installed incorrectly.
Think that is the wrong water/pressure guage but need a better shot.
I do see some other things as well but.....

it is lovely.

That's the Jack I was looking for! I knew you'ld have the details right there in your pocket Jack. If I ever do a bugeye for originality, I'll know who to call.

Yeah, Jack!!

I'm glad some folks want to create a trailered show car. I love to look at them, and then don't feel bad that Tunebug will never be that clean and pristine. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I wish I took some more pics so ya'll could put it under the scope.

Vping I save all BE photos in a big file I call reference.

Guess I need to send of for a BE concorse guide. Some issues I am not as clear on as I should be.

Now I will never have one of these cars but really do appreciate them.

As I stated before I wish I took a shot of the other side of the engine. There was an overflow tank that was like a small fire extinguisher. 2" daim and about 14" long chrome tube with cap. Does this sound original?

NO! (An old Tanquerey bottle would be more original! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif )
