Bugeye and Opal in Watkins Glen

On the main drag in Watkins Glen today, there was a decent red Bugeye with the NY plate "WKAUSTIN". Always good to see them out and about. then a little further on down we passed an Opal GT with a blower and intake that was taller than the roof!!!! As it rumbled by, I noticed that the drag slicks on the back end practically touched in the middle! There was just enough room to squeeze a driveshaft in there. HOLY COW!
Back at home we had to wait for a train crossing the road (A rare occurrence in it's self) and we sat waiting for it right behind a 1930 Model A Ford. Very cool!

Better to wait for the train than the Geese! I saw a Green GT6 and a green MGB. Have not see either of the in the area before.

Ben,

It's "Opel" by the way.It also bothers me whenever I see
"Alpha Romero" too.
