I have a '60 BT7. the turn signal bulb on the passenger side burned out. the bulb on the dash doesnt light either when the right turn signal is turned on. i replaced the bulb with a good bulb from the drivers side and nothing. i checked fuses and they are good. the drivers side is fine and the dash light blinks when the drivers side turn signal is on. any ideas?

Check the ground wires to all the lights. Loose grounds cause similar problems like you describe.
 
I think this could also be a problem with the flasher relay that is mounted on the inside of the left front front wheel well. This controls blinkers and brake lights, and the original ones worked with contacts and can have all the problems associated with contacts. You might try tapping on it or wiggling the wire attachment points (which will slightly change the contact geometry) to see if that's the problem.
