BT7 soft top [hood] question

Finishing up a restoration on my 61 BT7. I'm trying to install the soft top but have a few questions installation. My car didn't have a top when I got it so I have no reference to go by and I haven't been able to find any pictures or instructions on the internet. I bought my new top from John Skinner Upholstery Co..
1. What are the attachment points for the webbing that goes between the hood bows? I know it attaches to the rear bow by the way of 2 small plates held in place with a couple of screws but what about the other end? Does it attach to the wood header above the windshield?

2. On the inside of the top there is a strip of material about 3" wide that is sewn into the seam above the rear window.
It runs parallel to the rear bow. Does this piece of material attached to the rear bow? Is there any part of the top attached to the bows.

I hoping someone could post pictures of the inside of the top when it is installed on the car so I can see the webbing and if the top is attached to the bows.

Thanks,
Pete

I went out and looked at the top on my BT7. This top was installed a few years ago, before we bought the car. There is a piece of cloth above the rear window, but it is evenly draped over the last bow above the window and does not appear to be fastened to the bow. Maybe it should be fastened, but it has never been an issue as is.

Here are a few pics. Not sure whether it is done right or not, but it works well.
