Folks,

Looking for a BT7 hardtop front crosspiece--the piece that mates to the windscreen.

Mine is pretty dinged up.

Thanks,

You can buy them from Nical in the UK . To be honest that looks pretty good compared to mine when I started . Patience , a selection of hammers dolly’s and some careful work could get it back looking good and you know it will fit .
I did end up painting and clear coating all of mine as there were some gouges etc that had to be filled but I’m not purist so more than happy with the results .

Yeah, I'm going to powder coat, most probably. They have coatings that look near identical to anodized aluminum.

I thank you for the feedback/response. More motivational than you know.

And what kind of Previous Owner abuses these tops? Most pics I've been seeing are of very mutilated frames.

They have to be stored correctly , best place is on the car to help keep its shape . Don’t stand them on the back edge and lean them against the wall it will deform the shape . A lot of owners make custom padded stands to properly support them when off the car.
