My hard top is in good condition and has all the parts. BUT the back window is almost completely opaque. I want to try and clean up the plastic window if possible.
Any ideas????

I do not want to restore it at this time. Too many kids in college.

I belong to a group of British car owners that meet every Saturday for a drive and breakfast year around baring bad weather. The coldest we drove last winter was 29 drgrees.
A TR4 owner in the group has a great Hard top that makes me want to get mine out this winter. It been in the basement for 20 plus years.

Thanks Scott

Novus makes great products, I use them also. I get mine from Tap Plastics.
You might try the headlight cleaning kits too. They usually have everything you need in the kit. Sandpaper, compound, polish and the foam pads that go in your hand power drill.

Good luck.

Since there are no spots that stay hidden in case of damage ...
Try a soft combination of polish first and leave the sanding paper for later

Whenever you try sanding, never take anything under 2500 gritt and enough water
And be sure to use automotive paper and not the ones for wood or normal paint.

I wish you lots of succes, dont forget to take pictures ;-)

Hans

Thanks Jeff, I have to admit It's what I fell in love with the first time I saw the car.
