BT7 Door seal

performance

Any one have any photos of a BT7 with door seals properly installed?
This should go from the dash, under the pad I think to the front fender?
We are close to finish on a 61 BT7 and any help would be nice.
Thank you

The seal should go from the dash on down under the aluminum trim and then back up the other side of the door attaching to a trim piece at the top (near the hole where the top post fits into). This is a tricky piece to run. I am not sure I have attached mine correctly but I have been watching for a post showing the correct method. Hopefully someone will post as I have this issue too.

Howdy all!

I've got the exact same question on my BT7. If anyone has a great photograph that would be fantastic. I'm particularly confused about how the trim attaches when it reaches the end of its run near the hole where the top posts fit. Thanks!

Well no one has sent any.
I hope that someone has a shot of original seals or properly installed replacements.

Well I know mine is wrong.

Did you get my email with photos? I apparently misunderstood your enquiry. I thought you were asking about the scuttle seal.I am happy to show some images of the door seal if someone can tell me in a few easy steps how to get an image to show up in the body of a forum post.I tried a few times but for some reason have not been successful. I am pretty computer savvy, but have not conquered this challenge.

Your at the back of the door!
I am talking about the front of the door.
And yes your Furflex is installed incorrectly!
You need to replace your Furflex/door seal and buy the END CAPS.
Moss Motors seal is a terrible color, UPS should be here today or tomorrow with a order from British Car Specialists with a
sample of there Furflex.

If you want to know what it looks like you can e-mail me!

I did not get any photos in my e-mail.
It is possible that I trashed them.
I get a lot of spam and sometimes i get carried away junking things.
I hope not but I have done that before.
If you could send them again I promise I will not throw them out
before looking at them.

Scott,
Yes I sent them to supercharged@alltel.net. Do you have a screen that prevents larger files from coming through? I will send them to markabarth.ca and see if he can post them here or successfully forward them to you. Sorry!

Hi Lin -- I'd love to see some photos as well, if you're willing to send them. I'm especially curious about how the seal ends in the spot around the hole for the top bows/tonneau bar. If you wouldn't mind, I'd really appreciate it if you could send some to wsteinman@pogolaw.com.

Thanks!
