When I come here via Firefox, the Forum doesn't look the same as it does using IE7. The screen looks fuzzy, or slightly out of focus, and the colors aren't quite what I get on IE7.
Is this normal, or has Bill Gates figured out a way to defeat my aluminum hat?
Jeff

NOT normal. I have no explanation for it. Check your accessibility options. Maybe there's some sort of setting for the visually impaired that is checked and shouldn't be?

Try a lead hat, that should sort out your problems. I've never heard of a single program acting like that.

Greg, if I switch to a lead hat, I won't be able to hold my head up in public. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Have you checked for a 'fox update? I can't say I've run into that with either winders or Linux runnin' 'fox. Mebbe tweak your monitor resolution?

Don't think it does, but it may be that 'fox is reacting to a rez which Exploder can "live" with. <shrug>

Color "depth" setting?

Now ya got me curious.

What vid chipset have ya got?

Likely. I assume XP, you can check by right clicking the "Computer" icon and opening the "properties" choice. Second "tab" along the top (I *think*) should have "device manager" as a selection button. In the Manager, you can see what card/chipset it sees.

NVIDIA may have a better driver for the OS on their site... 'course it may be a LOT more trouble than it's worth to change it. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

XP, and I got the info from the device manager. No later drivers listed, but I didn't check the NIVDIA site. It's no big deal, as I only use FFox occasionally anyway.
