Just couldn't wait any longer, especially with the weather as nice as it is, so I called the woman who owns the barn, where my TR7 was, and told her I was comming to get her. (the car)
When I pulled off the cover, I was amazed at it, it looked just like the day I put it in there, all shined up, ready to hit the street.
After sitting in there for 6 months, I didn't really want to try to start it in the barn

so we pushed it out and down the hill to the driveway. I brought the battery from home and put it in, lots of voltage, lights all worked, but just a clicking from the fuse box. Played with the wires to the starter, and checked the fuses, all fine. I then told my wife and son to give it a push down the driveway... first turn of the key, it started turning over.. pulled out the choke, tried for about 30 seconds, and away she went. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif I drove it home the two blocks and spent a few hours with it before work, but it is supposed to be sunny and warm all week..
I will have a couple question later on though. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Ain't it great when they wake up from their winter hibernation?! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

Man, I'd hate to have to put my car up for the winter. Like TR7/8 TPI I live in Atlanta and it a great day for driving today. Glad you'll get to get out and enjoy your 7 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif.

I can't wait to hear the sound myself -- I'm only a week or two out from finishing the engine rebuild! If work wasn't taking 16 hours a day I'd have it done sooner, but I still feel bad about missing the nice days around here.

I'll come see ya one of these days, Rich!
