Hi Brosky

Did you use por15 on the entire differential? The pics look like you did - and have you tried the Hirsh miracle paint? I have more of that than the POR and I need to do the undercarrage now that the differential is out.
 
I thought that I answered this earlier. Let me put it this way; If it wasn't powder coated and it couldn't run and hide, it got coated with POR15.

I used the Hirsch paint on the insides of my fenders about 15 years ago. It seems to be holding up well, though my car is far from a daily driver.

To be honest, I never heard of it until now. Hmmm, maybe for the next restoration project??

Hi Darrell; It goes on very similar to the POR15 stuff maybe a bit thinner - Just finished coating the differential and underside with it 2 coats - gotta remember to wear gloves - the stuff does not like to come off even with acetone! A badge of some sort eh!

Hi Paul - it is very similar to POR It hardens like it - cannot resuse the container once opened - like POR - so chemically - a polyurethane that cures with moisture - just seems a bit thinner to me - but I am brushing it on so - if I sprayed it on - I may notice other aspects.

Getting ready to RR the pinion seal - looks straight forward from the Bentley manual - any comments to help?
