Brooklands books?

Just noticed on Amazon that Brooklands Books has Triumph factory workshop manuals (and spare parts catalogs). Any differences between these and the Bentley versions?

My TR4/4A Bentley is well used (front and back cover missing and pages starting to fall out) and I wouldn't mind getting a new copy plus I need one for the TR3.

The Brooklands book is simply a reprint of the original B-L factory manual. The Bentley Manual is essentially the same book re-formatted to an easier to use vertical format, is annotated with some additional material, and includes the owner's manual as well as the workshop manual. While both are handy, if I only had to pick one book for my car (TR6) it'd be the Bentley book.

Also the Bentley manual is about $7.50 cheaper right now.

BTW, I try to buy all the manuals for my TR6. I've got about 10 different ones now, but that's just for fun. It is a good idea, however, to have at least the Chilton and Haynes manuals on hand. Often their procedures are a little simpler and/or easier to follow. This is because they were originally written for a shadetree mechanic instead of someone working in a fully equipped shop.

Ah, I was hoping the Brooklands was the same as the Bentley. Amazon shows the TR4 Bentley version as out of print but if you go to the Bentley website it appears to show it as available.

Interestingly, the Brooklands manual shows 360 pages and the Bentley 362 pages with the same cover (My TR4 Bentley was the old brown cover version.).
