If you ever get a stubborn one and don't have access to a shop press, you can use a vise and a socket. Place the open side of the socket, larger than the stud head, over the stud head and against one of the vise jaws; the other vise jaw bears against the threaded end of the stud. Use a little PB Blaster, maybe even soaking overnight. When you begin to tighten the vise, even the stubborn stud will usually ease right out, head first into the socket.
