Broken Steering Rack Mount

I have been getting more serious in my effort to restore my old sports/racer. I decided to strip off everything I could remove and take it to the soda blaster to have the underside blasted.

Found this when I removed the rack. Mount was not welded on the sides like the other one and the bottom weld had broken.

A bit scary, this car weighs in at about 1100 lbs and is powered by an Alfa 1600 so you know it will move quite quickly. The car has Lockheed and Girling stamped hydraulics, the rack is stamped MOWOG so you know it has plenty of old brit parts in it. Since much of car seems to be production based, most likely from the early 50's, I will be posting up stuff in the future asking for some help in identifying and sourcing parts. Tie rod end are worn as are suspension bushings.
