MGB Broken Motor Mount Bracket 77 MGB

As I was preparing to install new motor mounts in my 77 MGB I found that the bracket on the engine that the mount attaches to was broken. This goes a long way toward explaining some of the engine vibrations I had been experiencing. Could I weld this bracket back up and use it? Or, would it be better to source a new one? Also where could I find one of these brackets?

Regards John

Hello John,

if you have the facilities, just weld it, and if the design looks weak add some strength at the same time.
