Broken Lug

I have to put new tires on the rear of my Midget, they are all dry rotted and don't hold air. I was taking off the rear left, and one of the lugs snapped as soon as I turned the wrench. I don't plan to drive the car, I just need some tires to roll it around if I need to move it. so my question is that going to be a problem with there only being 3 lugs on a side, and how do I go about getting the part of the lug out of the nut? I had planned on selling the wheels once I do not need them any more, and I don't know if anyone would want 5 rostyle wheels and only 15 lug nuts. also, my spare wheels got a huge dent in it, the last time I drove it. does anyone have an idea of the feasibility of repair is for the wheel, I'd hate to commit it to a junk pile or recyling bin.

I have an ugly lug I will give you, if you want it. But I don't think you will have a problem rolling the car around on 3 studs.

I tried to get a steel wheel repaired once, but had no luck. I imagine you could get somebody on the forum to sell a spare to you for considerably less than it would cost to get the wheel repaired.

New lug nuts are $1.95 Studs are $4.95 each from Moss. However, if you are only going to roll the car around by hand two to a wheel will do fine.

What he said...I wouldn't fuss too much over that unless I was planning on driving it. Eventually you will need to drive the broken stud out of the hub and replace it with a new one but that doesn't have to be a priority right now. Just don't forget about it...lol

thanks guys, I don't need a spare wheel. I just figured it would be better for someone else to have a spare wheel once I get rid of them. I will be putting on wheels with a 5 bolt pattern when I get to it, so I don't need ot replace any studs.
