Broke Down Again !!

Dale, I like the black rubberized idea, did mine flat black and it's OK, but the green was not something I could digest in my brain as going together. White is what we used in the race cars, reflected light and shows up leaks, well in the case of Triumphs, which one is worse.

AS in everything on your car, it's all turned out good so far, so show us skeptics something new.

Wow Dale, you have really stirred up a hornets' nest here. Just you paint it whatever colour you want. It is your car!

I think that sometimes he just tries to get people to believe that he's finally lost it.

He's actually on an anniversary weekend, so tune in again tomorrow for " the Trials & Tribulations of Tinster".

Bu...bu...bu...bu...but Bill!!

Your engine compartment indeed looks very professional
and worthy of the fine running automotive machine
you have made. I know you enjoy DRIVING your TR.

My TR6 on the other hand, is not a functional car.
I have not had the joy of taking it on a long Sunday
drive.
It is not fine running auto; it barely starts.
The last break down happened after only three
miles of very slow test driving.
My TR6 is a jackstand car. For looks only.

My car would do well put on display at some cruise ship
dock with a Reggeaton group or Steel Drum band using my
nicely refurbished trunk as a Bahama Mama / beer cooler.
The engine bay color will make all the new stuff I put in
there look pretty spiffy.

Crap... it's kinda depressing that we have a nearly identical list of replaced parts for Baldrick... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif

Run some plumbing into it and bring it to the Town green, You could make it into a beautiful fountain!

btw: if that color makes ya happy, I'm all for it!

even if the color makes me puuuuke! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/pukeface.gif

Kind of scary actually, my repair list on the Herald is quite similar. Just ran into a bunch more metric screws which were jammed into place also. What a pain. Worse yet Dale is catching up with the number of miles he has put on his car. [censored] Pedro and is band of looser car "restorers"

Dale, I'm always curious about how you got that picture of Pedro. Is that off the wall of the local post office?

Pedro adores himself. He left a plastic laminate ID
with his photo and name in the TR6 glove box. Nothing
but his photo and name--- curious.

We passed this used car lot on Saturday. I had to take
a photo for the forum. Anyone in the market for a good,
solidly restored MGA ?

your photoshop color is a bit grainy and you forgot to select the area under the master cylinder. Geeezz, these guys will believe anything. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/lol.gif

Good eye, John. As I said earlier, Tinster can sometimes be the Trickster.

in a little cafe just the other side of the ocean,...there sat a funky Triumph TR6 that had no motion.....well I dropped my wrench from my hand....and from the oil pan came sand...and I knew, yes I knew I should run,but then I heard him sayaaaA,..make me a little better offer,I'm all alone and the lites they dont work.

Box-

It pains me to laugh so hard!!!
