Brit's By The Sea Sunday - Who's going?

That is BEAUTIFUL!!! LMFAO!!!!

Nice meeting all of you guys today as well.

Not only was the plate next to me, but what a beautiful red TR6 that it was mounted on. Dave did one heck of a job on that car.

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:]LMAO... that's left to right.... Al Gary, Me and Paul. Now that I've met Paul ....and he's really a nice guy and he has a beautiful car.....I've got the "bust 'em" just a bit. So I posted a few pics on my site. https://tr6.danielsonfamily.org/BritsByTheSea2008.htm

Paul....I hope you have a sense of humor!

That's it. I'm going on a diet...

Oh, you're in trouble now Bob!

Poor Bill not only has a broken transmission, he's now married to Dale!

Bill,

Look at Bob's website. He made a typo calling Deb, Dale.

I think that he misses hearing from Dale on a daily basis since Amos is in "quiet" restoration.

Actually did anyone stay long enough to see what won?

If there is any justice, then that grey metallic Griffith had to have won the TVR class. That thing was drool-worthy.

No, I left after the raffle was taking forever to get going.

Anybody have more info on that Carmine Red TR8 coupe behind the GT6 with it's bonnet up?

I wonder how close it was to mine on the production line, VIN would tell us. Looks like a near twin except we have different style sunroofs.

It was a pre-production one iirc.
ACN vin. May have been #15, but don't quote me on that last bit.

My vote for overall best in show would have to go to the Austin A30!

I agree with Paul, I stood an for over an hour waiting to bid on the 2 Tourist Trophy steering wheels; after I lost, I left. I think only the crickets where left when they gave out the awards.
Tom

I didn't stay for the awards either but John Mitchell got an email telling him that he won first in the TR6 class and that 2nd went to a Mimosa TR6. John had that beautiful BRG all original car that was parked in the same row as me but at the opposite end. So Mimosa came in 2nd huh...... Brosky...was that you? Me.... or one of the other freakin 22 Mimosa TR6s at that show! I've never seen so much yellow in my life. My money is on Paul's car. It's much too nice to get passed over.

I thought for a minute Dale painted his car yellow.
