Brit's By The Sea Sunday - Who's going?

Gavin,
You could do the ferry from LI to New London! Your best bet may be the Hutchinson to the Merritt and then in Stratford, take the connector (exit 54?) back over to I-95. I-95 up to New Haven and over the Quinnipiac Bridge. Once you get on that part of I-95 you could hop off and follow Rte 1 along the shore. Scenic but slow.

You guys are the best. Excuse my lack of knowledge for back east roads. If you're ever driving through New Mexico I can return the favor.

I'm having fun with Google maps on this one. Now that you can add way points, you can make custom routes. It's awesome.

rt 15 is a nice ride!

it is when it's not at a standstill because all the cars trying to miss traffic on I95 are on there...

uggh summer traffic.

the only plus to $4.75 a gallon for gas is the fact that there are fewer cars on the road.

Actually all joking aside, I'm going to go outbound on 287 - 95. I figure at that time on a Sunday, there won't be a problem.

Coming back I reserve the right to either hang a right at Stamford along with half of the population of Westchester, or if it's totally clustered (like yesterday morning) take 9 to 84...

Right now it looks like we're leaving from North Haven at 9 AM with: Bill (Kodanja), John Mitchell, Ivan Bailey and myself while Al Gary will be driving down Rte 9 from Hartford. We'll be cruising down I-95 so keep an eye out for us. The weather gods are still smiling on us.

We're leaving Pawtucket at about 8:30AM and will be coming down 95 South. Which is the best exit to take to get to the park? I think there are two options. We should get there about 10 give or take a stop at Dunkin Donuts.

There is a group from the Cape Cod Club coming, but I'm not sure who or how many.

Eileen and I will B there in the Carmine Red 80.

Gavin,

I'm meeting up w/ another MGB at the Bell Blvd exit of the Cross Island Parkway (parking lot outside gate of Fort) at 7 AM. We're doing Hutch to Merrit to 95 connector. Stopping for a Cracker Barrel Breakfast in Milford on way up and a Frank Peppes pizza in New Haven on the way back.

see: dems da brakes!
Dats da Tranny! ((((Poof!)))I just tried too hard!

You realise that seeing this made me look on the dunkin donuts website for the nearest one to exit 75 so I can get some caffeine, don't you.

I'm on my way for my first big cup right now!

Weather here is beautiful...........

See you there.

Weather is looking good in southern RI. Won't be able to make the show today but just might have to take a run out for breakfast in the TR6.

For those of you going to the show and "caffeine challenged" I seem to recall there is a dunkin donuts on the right hand side after exiting 95 and about a mile and a half from the show entrance.

Lots of LBC's pulling in last year and it was actually a fun place to watch the cars heading for the show drive by.

Have fun. :savewave:

Dale's gonna crank up the Crypt Car and
attempt to drive the red demon By the Sea
here in Puerto Rico today.

I'll be with ya in spirit, if not location.

ya'll have a blast today!!!!

For all who weren't there, Rego's car is even shinier in person. He ought to get a perspex hood made to show it off properly...

It was an awesome turnout..
