Was watching the crowd cheering on TV,after the news came out.
Don't these people have better/more important things to care about?
And I thought I had no life.

That it makes as much "noise" as it does is remarkable for sure.

Yea, I don't understand making such a fuss either, people crying and so on. I wouldn't have been there even if it had been down the street from my house.

That being said, I'm happy for her. As long as she's not a physical danger to herself or others or not severely mentally disabled, she has a much right to determine how to spend her money as the rest of us. If that means poor choices and losing it all, so be it. 1000s of folks without a celebrity profile make poor financial choices all the time. Million dollar athletes for example, many end up broke from poor spending habits after playing days are over.

Notice "Broadway" Joe Namath doing commercials for Medicare. Shilling for them after going through his money? His brother Frank had an insurance company in the home town, I'd have thought Joe would have been offered a job there instead! 😉

Every time I see that commercial I wonder why Joe Willie is doing them. He may have to return to Beaver Falls ;)

Somewhere in my archive of stuff, I've a photo of Joe's Super Bird and his contemporary girlfriend on Seventh Avenue in Beaver Falls. Joe dodged the camera professionally before I could get the shot. His girlfriend was in a sheer top with no umm... undergarments. Old men were doing the Artie Johnson falling-off-the-park-bench routine as she passed!

Jimmy Walker too. Former Cincinnati Red Kal Daniels ended up driving a truck hauling rock out of a quarry in Georgia I think it was as he burned through what he made. But as long as they're not physically hurting themselves or others, let them burn through their cash and have to scrounge for living expenses like the rest of us.

I've also wondered why people like Shaq & Tom Selleck seem to be
on a lot of different ads.I also wonder what they do with all that money
they get for doing them.
Hopefully,most/all of it goes to worthy charities.
