LBC Fans...

Well, the British Rolling Car Days come off this weekend with about 150 (?) cars....

IT WAS HOT, HOT, HOT.... We lost a few cars due to overheating, and a few more because they couldn't find a place to park at Balboa Park.....

It was great fun and I won a six-pack in the raffle!!

Ron,

I gave your wife my raffle ticket when you were moving your car. Sure it was yours that won.......

I was disappointed to miss it. Sounds like it was a bit too big for its britches again! Glad you had fun and didn't overheat!

The only real problem was showing up st Balboa Park about noon on a beautifully warm and sunny Sunday. Parking was at a premium to say the least. If it had been cold and wet like last year, we could all have had 2 spaces.

Simon,

It was great meeting up with you and your lovely wife...

As for the ticket...

Just kidding.. it was mine..

I am free this Saturday afternoon and, if convenient for you, I would like to stop by and check out your A... Let me know..

Steve,

One of these days we will finally meet up...

The course was fun but resplendent with traffic and very long traffic lights adding to the overheating epidemic...

Well, there is always British Car Days in October... Maybe I will have finally put an interior in the A by then..
