Anyone out there had any dealings with British Miles in PA?
I seen their web site under Austin Healey Links, seems like they have alot of good parts. I talked with him breifly on the phone but he was pretty covered up ,said he was working by himself. If you know anything about them pro or con please advise. You can Private Message if needed. I don't want to cause a riff... Thanks Bob

Well Bob, as you probably noted the web site is a bit ancient, and if he is now working alone all those specialists he talked about as being part of the group may not be there any more .There is some feed back again ancient "1999" and its isn't good. However, I have not dealt with that vendor myself.---Fwiw---Keoke

I have dealt with him several times and had good experiences as recient as last summer. He, Tom, can be gruff due to being over worked but when he is not busy he is nice and knows his stuff. Moss recommended him to me for parts not available or hard to find. He ships fast and reasonable. I've not heard anything bad about his operation. It seems that he has a large collection of nice used parts for most British cars which he refurbishes. He deals in new parts at reasonalbe prices (he got me seat pans for my BJ8 at 12 dollars less, each, than the competion). But as we have learned with all venders, be aware, be specific, and be skeptical. I'd use him again.

Well BlueRidge, You just might go with TH's experience ,if he can get a good deal I guess anybody else can get one too.---Keoke-- /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
