Many years ago I found a useful thread identification chart from Metric and Multistandard Components Corp of Hawthorne,NY.
It's now available on the web. Go to <www.metricmcc.com>. There are two useful sections for British car restorers. One is British Items which is on their home page. The other is their online catalog, section 10A, Metric and British Thread Data. Pages 10-1008 through 10-1013 contain info useful to anyone working on cars with BSF, BSW, and BA fasteners. The thread identification chart, for example, enables one to quickly determine whether a fastener is British, American, or metric. My '72 Morgan +8 has a mixture of all three!
You can print these pages using Adobe Acrobat. Hope you find the data useful.

Thanks for the site Billca! I'm sure that will be very useful to many of us. By the way, just a pointer on posting web sites - you can actually make a link in your post that people can click on by simply using the entire web address (including the https:// part), then putting the URL tag on either side, like this:
{url}https://www.metricmcc.com{/url} EXCEPT, instead of using { } u you must use [ ]. then. when you save it and view your post it will look like this:
