British Leyland badges?

Doc,

Are you mad at your fridge? Why the MG badge?

According to a bloke I know who used to work for Triumph, one John Macartney (His father was Charles Macartney, check your Standard-Triumph history books), the badges were equally applied on the cars. There was, however, a problem with the mastik (the adhesive) on the badges and many fell off while the cars were being shipped to the docks and holding yards. He mentioned a roadway that had ditches littered with BL badges. He also told me that the majority of ST/BMC workers refered to the BL badge as the "twisted arsehole".

Just throwing it in for consideration. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
