British fleet for sale

Gosh, if I were 50 and independantly wealthy, I'd jump all over that! However, alas and alack, I am neither so I guess I have to pass, sigh.

Ya know, there it is again, big bucks and no feedback. Kinda makes you wonder, eh.

I smell scam............
...or lack of hope for personal, short-term, economic recovery? ...or perhaps a zealous local Zoning Officer? :eeek:

I'd take the Herald....

Run! run away! there isent enough time in the world to deal with all that rot. Every one of those is a life ling restoration that will cost 4-5 times the cars worth.
Too bad. if they were rust free, that'd be an impressive collection.

Probably not a scam... probably not going to be able to sell them as a lot either but the listing may get him some individual offers. There appears to be a possibly decent Bugeye in the background of the Herald shot.

I'm sure he would like them to all go in one fell swoop but this is a lot for anyone to take on. Restorations of this magnitude often go to newer British car fans with more passion (and hopefully $$$) than common sense.

Well at least the poor baby's aren't at the crusher :hammer:.Someone did have good intentions tho .The guy or gal who owns them probably has body problems to...If we could only hear the stories these cars could tell it would make an interesting book.Hopefully they will all see another run down lifes highway. :driving:

Andy-
The Herald caught my eye as well. Not to worry though, I just got through spending time at the money pit with the completion of my TR :jester:

The only people who will buy the whole lot will probably part them.

I'm not really in a position to even think about another car. In fact, my barn and yard are eerily reminiscent of the eBay auction (save for the fact my whole fleet is Triumphs, plus one Standard Pennant and a '51 Chevy, not counting "Modern" drivers)!

That seems likely; on the other hand, the asking price is pretty high for parts cars, so ????

Wonder what this guys house looks like? This mess reminds me of the cartoon- Squidbillies.
