We will be opening our latest show in the changing gallery on Friday. The show is called the British Invasion, and currently we have six vintage British cars and a new MINI Cooper on display. You can see photos of all the vintage cars in my Flickr set named America On Wheels - Fall 2010. These cars currently share the West Gallery on the museum's second floor with train layouts for the Christmas Holiday tied with Toys for Tots. After Jan 1, the trains will be removed and more British cars will come in to supplement these for several months.
Other recent additions have been Al Holbert's March-Porsche GTP car, an AmphiCar, a Messerschmidt, and a 1910 Brush. A car that will be featured in the lobby is the taxi cab from the movie "It's A Wonderful Life". I have also added some LBC slot cars in my lobby slot car display. Stop in if you have a chance.
