Don't forget to get out and drive your LBC's during British Car Week May 26-June 3. If you're reading this post, you know how much we need our cars to be seen and -hopefully- appreciated by others to keep interest and ownership levels up. 2007 will be the 11th year for this extra effort week, so please join in. https://www.britishcarweek.org is the website. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/savewave.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grouphug.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif

I get back to NJ on the 3rd and will try to get one car out if the weather is reasonable.

Went up country to a winery for a "Island Rock" concert and all the other good things that happen at wineries. About a dozen rain drops to help with the humidity without lowering the high 80's temps. But, that's what driving these cars is all about. Disappointed I did now see another LBC in the 1 1/2 hours we were driving.

Drove my MGB GT to work yesterday.

Took the MGC GTS to a car gathering this morning, followed by a 90-mile afternoon drive in the BGT again.

Tomorrow the GTS comes out again for a run through the hills of Malibu, CA.

British Car Week indeed! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I'm doing my part - I've been driving the
Cortina MKIII to work every day.I'm surprised at how many comments it gets.Guess that goes from driving a generic
vehicle most of the time.

What's a "generic vehicle" Doug?!?! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

I consider the Alfa to be "generic". /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

It's avehicle that you can drive down the road,
& noone pays any attention to it.Kind of like taking
the nameplate off of a Japanese car - most people
wouldn't know what it was.

Th' new Maser coupe is one of those! Pull the Tridents off'n it and ya have a BUICK!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

We took 17 T-Series MGs into the local mountains today for a 73-mile tour. We drove 142 miles total today in ours.
