General Tech British Car Mobile Mechanic

I have no problem reading…maybe it’s the way you write?
Anyway, there is really no need to get all worked up about it.
Enjoy your Saturday.
Only responded to your reply "Hold up…are you now telling me he is in Fallbrook!" ✌️

Any mechanic "flying below the radar" for a living has much to hide. I toyed with doing this back in the 1980's. My dad kept trying to convince me to open my own shop. He did not realize the costs involved. After much debate, I decided that it is almost impossible to go it alone. You have to have employees to draw enough business to stay afloat. Otherwise, you have to cheat somewhere. I do not live like this. In 1984 I rolled my tools into my garage, and went back to school. I do not do business with under the table contractors, trades people, even lawn care people. You are judged by the company you keep. I am now retired with two pensions, Social Security for both my wife and myself. I have the prosperity that goes with doing things the right way. I am surprised you post this guys phone number. Several government agencies might like to have a talk with him. I can sleep soundly every night. ...J.D.

Just because you never heard of him or heard of people getting screwed does not mean much just your opinions, not trying to convince anyone simply letting it be known someone is out there. He's been the only 1 trusted to mechanical well being & fixes on my TR6 since '96 others that have used him call him back. FYI use to do work on my TR6 at Brits Sports in Riverside for decades owner passed so now offering his knowledge/experience at you door, your choice call & talk with him or stay in the diy darkness with what you think
Sometimes, I wish I had that kind of help on hand ...

Since I prefer driving vs diy or a friend coming over to assist nice to have 30+ yrs of British mechanical knowledge/experience come to my house, most projects done by1 guy in 1/2 day, couple took a week or so but TR6 remained in my garage vs somewhere for days having "5 of their best guys on it" have R&R tranny, clutch, diff, aluminum radiator/fan, rear disc, front suspension rebuild & electrical issues solved in my garage, that matters to me
