Hi, I have an old photo of a car from around the early twenties of a four door tourer of some kind. I have studied the radiator badge in detail and it looks like a triangle with a single uppercase A inside. It is not Alvis but I'm at a loss as to what else it can be. I'm sure its not one of the well known bigger manufacturers.

OK George....A British-built car...had a British engine starting with the letter "B"...car name started with the letter "A"....and was sold only in the U.S.
 
Bristol Engine maybe? Would the car be the A.C.?
 
...and beautiful cars they are. Okay that's actually an Ace parked 2 cars down from me [see attachment] with a Caterham squeezed between, but all ACs are a treat to see.

Nope.....AC's weren't sold only in the U.S.

Keep trying. Winner gets a bucket full of rust that was once a British car.

That's good, not sure if correct, but it's good. Better than my more flippant guess of an Austin Atlantic with a "B" series engine. I know, they sold them in the UK too.....but not many!

There were a couple of Arnolt Bristols being raced in California in the late '90's. Vintage, of course, and I saw them at Sears Point and Willow Springs. Odd cars!
And, RG is right about me not needing any more rust. She must have seen the bonnet and the RF fender on the MG I was driving last weekend.
I've got a whole new front end for it, but it's in California!
