British Car Forum now has an official Facebook Page!

After years of resisting, we have finally been assimilated! Yes, BCF now has a new Facebook Page that will give us another way to introduce British Car Forum to enthusiasts around the world. We'll use it to highlight interesting forum discussions, technical topics, restoration projects, classifieds, photographs and other happenings from around BCF.

If you're on Facebook, we invite you to follow the British Car Forum Page, share it with your fellow British car enthusiasts on FB, and help us spread the word.

While Facebook gives us another great way to reach British car enthusiasts and let people know what's happening at BCF, British Car Forum will remain the primary home for our discussions and community.

There are some very good reasons for that. A traditional forum keeps discussions organized by marque and subject rather than allowing useful information to disappear into a constantly changing social-media feed. Individual topics remain intact, conversations are easy to follow, and information can be searched and found again months—or even years—later.

Perhaps most importantly, BCF represents more than 25 years of accumulated knowledge and experience from British car owners and enthusiasts around the world. Our archives contain an enormous amount of technical information, troubleshooting advice, restoration experience, photographs, and solutions to problems that members have contributed over the years. That searchable history is one of BCF's greatest resources.

So think of our Facebook Page as another window into British Car Forum—a place where we'll highlight interesting discussions, projects, classifieds, photos, and other things happening around BCF. When you want to dig deeper, ask a question, contribute your own experience, or join the conversation, the forum itself is still the place to be.

Just to clarify one important point about our new Facebook Page: BCF is NOT moving to Facebook!

The British Car Forum itself isn't going anywhere. The forum will remain the home of our community, where our discussions, technical information, questions, answers, and member interactions take place.

The new Facebook Page is simply another way for us to highlight interesting posts and topics from BCF and put them in front of more British car enthusiasts. When we share a forum topic on Facebook, people can click through to BCF to read the full discussion and participate.

The goal is simple: use Facebook's reach to bring more people to the British Car Forum, not move the British Car Forum to Facebook.

And if you don't use Facebook, don't like Facebook, or want nothing to do with Facebook, that's perfectly fine! You won't miss anything by staying right here on BCF. Facebook is simply another doorway into the forum—not a replacement for it.
