British Car Forum Disease

Whatta you mean....I'm no junkie....Just because I need 3-4 BCF fixes a day you think I've got a habit?! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

the only problem i have with the forum is that it takes me away from actually doing work on my car. the big boss (wife) thinks that also. quote-"if you stopped buying tr parts on e-bay and stopped B.S.'ing on the forum we might actually get to drive that car some day"!

Most commonly heard thing in my house:
"Oh you're not writing your column, you're on the British Car Forum...well go change our daughter's diaper, then."

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif My girlfriend has questioned whether the hobby is about working on and driving the car, or just collecting parts! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

As an academic type, it's my "reward" after getting class materials ready, grading exams, or finishing some project. I even visit from home with a 56K modem!

My wife thinks I am talking to another female. She will sneak up behind me to check. I think another woman would be cheaper.

Re: Curious Females

Girlfriend offered to house sit for me twice during a period of about 2 months.

Upon returning the 2nd time, I got the strange feeling that something wasn't quite right, but couldn't put my finger on it. Like things had been moved and replaced.

That is until I went to use my flashlight....
I have an unusual flashlight idiosyncrasy.... I only have one & its the big 6 cell mag "cop light".
Anytime the light from it even starts to become dim, its time for new batteries.
Well....I just replaced the batteries last month & they should last a long time.
I'm thinking......Yea, last month after I got back from being away.

That's odd? Before I left the first time they were almost new.
