British car fonts

Do you mean, as examples, the font that Austin Healey uses or the same font as MG? I have never seen such but an interesting thought.

From "Amicale Spitfire" -- the French Spitfire Club, is a font I've used for many years now. TRIUMPH.TTF is a pretty good representation of the lettering used by Standard and Triumph in the 1960s. See <https://www.spitfire.amicale.com/indexe.php3>; scroll down near the bottom of the page.

I just made a LUCAS battery sticker by using photoshop to alter a standard microsoft font. Not perfect...but I was too dang cheap to pay $5+$2S/H for a real sticker (plus I wanted a project to do today!) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

If you are looking for a Word Document type font that is close to that used in British car manuals (and most other British industrial writing I guess) I think that Gill Sans MT is pretty close. I use it in memos and such.
