Hello,

Yesterday was the annual Toronto Triumph Club's British Car Day in southwestern Ontario and all I can say is WOW! I think it was the best turnout I've seen in 9 years. It was the 30th anniversary of the event and was extremely well attended. There must have been 100 some TR3s,4s,250s,6s,7s,8s,Spits, 40+ Austin Healeys (you see maybe 2 all summer and then this, WOW!), 30+ deLoreans, countless MGs (TD,A,B,C,GT,Midgets), tLotus, Sunbeams, Shelbys, Rolls Royces, 30+ E-type Jags, Aston Martins (including my show favourite DB5), and many many more.

I'm sure if anyone else on this forum was in attendance, they would agree. I will post some pictures later.

Fantastic show! Well done TTC!

...........Cheers, Alex

Hi Alex,

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, it was a great day and a great celebration of 30 years of British Car Day. The very first BCD had 31 cars on the field....for the 30th BCD, we estimate around 1100 cars and around 8000 spectators were in attendance. There certainly were some awesome cars on display!

I look forward to seeing some photos.

Cheers

1100 cars I wish we had a show around here like that.

My buddy with his red TVR drove up from Pennsylvania to attend the show... he wouldn't miss it!

Pictures as promised.

Great video and show Tush. Congratulations on another huge effort and success. Really need to make an effort to get to Bronte! Cheers, Mike

Wow Tush you look like a kid in a candy store. That show looks just too big. How can you even begin to look at all the cars let alone talk to the people about them? I'm off to the Triumph National in San Fran at the end of the month and I suspect it will be very large too. I hope to get some great pictures to share. Take care.
