British Bash

Is that the one in Louisville about the time of the Derby? End of May, beginning of June? We've talked about it. I think it's first weekend in June, because last weekend in May is Champaign IL and June 8-9 is Heartland. Basically it just depends where we are on Binabox by the end of May. If she's getting close and it's feasible to get her on the road for MG2006, every waking minute we have will go into working on her instead of shows.

First weekend in June. It's a great show held at the St. Joseph Orphanage. There is a huge tree covered great lawn, lots of nice people, food, fun, music...I just hope I'm off work that weekend. I'd like to meet some of the wonderful people from this forum.

Kentucky Derby? I think I'll be there working. Maybe I can make the car event, too! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Well how cool would that be Steve? You'll have to drive Cedric though!

medic, where's Floyds Knob IN? When we went to Grand Rapids to John Twist's party last summer, we took all the backroads north through Indiana. I swore we drove through every flipping town in IN, but I don't remember that one! My dot got her undergrad degree at Ball State in Muncie and has friends in Indy and Fort Wayne, and I have a nephew in Bloomington.

janel, Floyds Knobs is a suburb of Louisville, Ky--only it's on the Indiana side of the Ohio river. There are lots of hills with twisty curvy roads that my lbc just loves to tame. The Knobs sit about 600ft above the Ohio river valley. The views from up here are beautiful. Down in the valley is New Albany, In., where the steamboat Robt. E. Lee was built. I-64 runs right thru it, but the backroads from St Louis are much more fun. BTW, still looking for a hardtop?, I've got 4 for sale.

My last name it Bash /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
