Thanks for posting. I see very few lbcs where I am.

:iagree: Ditto. I'd have to drive several hours to get close to an event like that.

Great pictures! Again, it's a shame that the Lewes show and this one coincide:(

You even had a mobile chippie for that extra layer of British authenticity!

And a Humber Snipe. I haven't seen one of those since my university days when one of the engineering students had one as daily transport. I went out with him in it once but the throttle return spring broke leaving the throttle wide open while on the motorway. His solution was to switch off the ignition which had the undesired effect of engaging the steering lock at 80mph - at least I think that was in the Humber, memory fades with age - did the Humber have a steering lock (he did have a Humber though).

Nice pictures Nial! Even that, help me Healey! :highly_amused: PJ

What a great show. Something I look forward to every year. This year they even had a food vendor serving Fish and Chips.

Thanks all. It *was* fun and we hope to attend more shows as grand-kids and racing scehdule allows.

Steve: Great to hear from you! It took me a minute to understand "mobile chippie". And yes.....a real, honest-to-goodness Humber Super Snipe (has there *ever* been a better name for a car?)

George: Great to meet up with you and Ginny again. Hope you can get that "new" Spridget going soon. Let me know if you plan on going to any other events. We're thinking of going to the Red Mill Inn event in Clinton (Sunday, June 1) or maybe the Triumph event in Ho-Ho-Kus the week after (Saturday, June 7).
