I don't know anything about the kit, but I will bet money that the turn signals will no longer cancel once the kit is installed. Without the hollow shaft, there is no way to hold the control head from turning.
 
The specific kit shown there is manufactured by Bastuck. Bastuck is the only place I'm aware of that markets a sleeved gizmo to allow you to retain the control head with center horn/turn signal capability, but as Randall has bet it will not cancel.

I've seen and used Bastuck parts and they are good quality. If you are adventurous, you can buy the sleeved gizmo from Bastuck directly for a little over $200, or you can try and buy the complete kit from them for around $900 + shipping.
 
I got the Bastuck unit when I converted-- no problems at all with it! Worth it to me to keep the original trafficator-- Jim
