Bristle flex seal help please

I am finally getting a chance to put in my Bristle-flex door seals on my Bugeye. I have run into a problem. My old seals were 68.5 inches, and the Bristle-flex seals are only 66.5 inches. The result is that they are too short to tuck into the rear panel like the old ones did. I know a number of you have bought the Bristle-flex seals - how long were the ones you were sent? I don't see how I could be installing them wrong bases on a number of pictures some of you have posted in the past. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
