The trigger does work... The gun does fire any projectiles put inside it (including fire)... And the gun does double duty as a BBQ (the area inside the "cartridge chamber")

I see the milk churn in the photo looks like it's been used for target practice; sure hope they move it away from that propane cylinder when they're playing!
