Guy, the fella that owns the car, told me how he did it. I'm not familiar with TR250 wheels but evidently they have mounting "nubs" for their style hub caps, too.
He cut those out, replaced them with TR3 "nubs" (using a TR3 hubcap to gauge the correct depth) and welded them in.
Pretty simple and cool..
