Breakfast run

A few days ago some friends and I made a breakfast run over the mountains in my Healey and their 37 Chevy Coupe. Along the way I snapped some pics with my phone camera. Here are two. The first is just to remind everyone that Utah has great scenery. The second wasn't that interesting at first until I noticed the reflection of the Healey (actually there are 3 reflections) in the side of the Chevy. I think it's really quite artistic, although I wish I could claim that I did it on purpose. (My 16-yr-old son was driving at the time (yikes!), so don't think I was snapping pictures at 65 mph!)

Nice pics!

I've been to and through Utah several times, and liked it very much. The last time was just a few months ago in April. The scenery are roads are indeed wonderful.

How long's your winter? I mean, the part where it's not really practical to drive Healeys due to snow and/or frigid temps.

Oh Reid, you had to go mention the 'W' word!

The winters here are indeed long and cold; not conducive at all to top-down Healeying. With the heater on and a good jacket, I can drive my Healey until about Nov 1, and I think I started driving it again in about April 1 (again with the heater on and bundled up). The video that I posted on the Front Page was made on a warm day in mid October, and I was quite comfortable with just a long-sleeve shirt.

On the bright side, the skiing is great!

Love the photo with reflection of the Healey on the Coupe!!! Smiles - they say just about everything.
