I got the rebuilt calipers w/new pistons,new pads,rebuilt wheel cylinders(now a matching set),new flex lines all on. after bleeding them I went for a test drive. The brakes are almost non existant. Do you think it's just air in the line ? Should I just give bleeding another try ? There is some good news,the new brake switch works. The funny thing is that the bad switch and no brake lights was what started this whole batch of projects. I went from brakes that worked and no lights,to having lights and no brakes! :jester:
 
First question: You adjusted the rear brakes, correct? (You didn't list it.)

If you did, then try bleeding again.
 
John T, Yes I did the adjustment just as described in the manual. I got and installed new rubber for the clutch master and slave. the brakes were already put together and bledd but not tested yet because I needed to fix the clutch. I ordered the rubber for the brake master while I was at it but thought I wouldn't need to mess with it for awhile.Last night after I posted this topic,one of our fellow forum members(elrey) called me and explained that the rest of the brake work being done made my old worn out rubber in the master my weak link. So it's probably a combination of air bubbles and a weak master. I'm going to put the rubber in and then re-bleed.
 
After rebuilding the master and re-bleeding...they're still spongey and weak. What do ya think, re-re-bleed ????
