After finally getting my '59 100/6 up and running I realized it didn't want to stop. Brake peddle feels like stepping on a brick. Pulled all brake drums and found leaking brake cylinder, broken bleeder screws and shoe wear. Drums look OK. So, looks like my winter project is to do a complete brake job. Any suggestions regarding where to purchase a complete brake kit (shoes, springs, cylinders and master cylinder)? Are there any upgrades I should consider? Thanks for advice.
 
Try British Parts Northwest. They handle most brake parts for our LBC's, have reasonable prices, are knowledgeable, and advertise on this forum.
 
Maybe supplies are better now, but I couldn't find springs for mine, so I had to go with the optional 4-wheel discs. (That's my story and I'm sticking to it.) :wink:
