you don't say what model, but if there is a later year that had disc brakes fitted the easy solution is to find those parts and fit. Otherwise you will have to go the fabrication\adaption route.

Youy might try contacting some of the Vauxhall owner's Clubs in the UK (just try a google search for them). They're much more likely to have done something like this. The Vauxhall model (Viva) from the mid- and late 60s might provide a source, but they'd be better able to help.....

andrew,i usally tow my car with my motor home,and drove short distances,but now i want to tour more,and stop qicker.motor home is redundent! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/canpatriot.GIF /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/canpatriot.GIF /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/england.gif

for a Victor club, someone there may have done something like you propose...

That article's from what I think is the main club for British Vauxhall owners too. So they might be able to help too.
